This little guy was so busy
at the Chelsea Flower Show
foraging beautiful alliums
I prefer bumblebees to bees
their stocky little furry bodies
all round
you could hardly believe they can fly
This one very decidedly heading towards its meal
indifferent to our human usual busyness
looking like a little spacecraft
hovering with no discernible wings,
a little ball of buzzing energy
In this second I want to be a bumble bee
my dense body floating in space
approaching this flower which for me
would be as large as a planet
soon landing to loose myself
in its soft scent
and gorge on its pollen
